E Don Do PART 2
Welcome to Sarahblogz!!
Guys!! i’m so excited that our website is up and running. Thank you for joining us here again.
In our last post, we touched briefly on the importance of persistence and determination and I hope you are ready to keep at it till you break through. however, we ended the blog post with the question: What do we do after putting extra efforts at our endeavours and we still do not get the desired result?
Personally, I know what it feels like to prepare for a project and having done all I knew to do, I still ended up falling short of my expectation. I’ll briefly share some tips that I have found useful:
- KEEP THE ENERGY UP: This is a mantra my eldest brother keeps singing into my ears (I love you D). This is more than a mantra and it’s important for us all to make it our reality. That energy you expended that closed a door will open another door. please don’t lose that energy.
- EMBRACE PATIENCE: Patience is not your ability to wait but how you act while waiting. When things don’t go our way, it is best to believe Romans 8:28 where it says : For we know that all things work together for good, to them that love God and are called according to His purpose. There is a reason that project or exam didn’t go your way. please let patience have its perfect work in you. It is working for your good!!
- ASK INTELLIGENT QUESTIONS: the best place to do this is in the place of prayers. when things turn against our plans, we tend to ask God foolish questions with the intent to put the blame on him subtly. Trust me God is good!! Examples of intelligent questions include: “God where do we go from here?” “What is the next move sir?”
- STAY JOYFUL!!: Honestly, when we fall short of our expectations, we tend to be sad and withdrawn but that is exactly what keeps us down. The book of proverbs says: “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine” Choose to stay joyful and you will be on your way back up!! This has worked for me countless times!!
Therefore, there are times when you have done so much to the extent that people say to you: “E don do” but you still fall short of your expectations. Do not bury your head in shame. You are already better than someone who never did. Pick up yourself and move again!!
Thank you for reading.
