You are reading because you believe that there are some giftings and potentials in you that God will have you use for His glory but you seem to be tired or worn out. You used to have the zeal but it seems like it is waning out. Here are some few tips that can help revive your sleeping passion.
- Silence the doubting voices in your head
- Start, you are not too late
- Surround yourself with passionate people
- Take calculated risks
Silence the voice of doubt : Have you ever tried to make videos and pictures with the intent to post on social media and you just began to doubt whether the caption made sense or not? Are there times you have a good contribution to make in a meeting but you suddenly doubt yourself and refrained from speaking? I have been there one million and one times but I am improving. Stop listening to the voices saying that you are not good enough or that you do not have the skills or whatever. You need you to support you before anyone else can. If you can not convince yourself about your passion, you can not convince another to believe in your vision and passion.
Start, you are not too late: Guys, there have been times I assumed it was too late to pursue my passion but you know what? That is a big lie. Although I am a lawyer, I am very passionate about entrepreneurship and recently began a business to fuel that passion. I will give details later someday. I remember the story of a man that died in the Bible. Jesus was so passionate about healing people and raising the dead. He is still doing so today. The man was four days dead but Jesus did not come up with an excuse that it is rather too late to raise the dead man. He simply went ahead and raised Him up even after four days. What is yours to raise is still waiting for you. Do not ever forget.
Surround yourself with passionate people: The greatest mistake you can make is to surround yourself with passionless and clueless people. This world is tiring already, you need to surround yourself with energised and motivated people. If you are single choose wisely!! Your friends must be your support system. Friendship that only thrives on gossip is a bad situationship. Change your circle of friends if necessary.
Take calculated risks: I must stress that this is not an easy thing to do because sometimes it ends in premium tears…LOOOL but then we keep getting stronger by the day. You must learn to take calculated risks. Sometimes it means spending your savings on a training, investing in a business or whatever. Allow the Holy Spirit to help you take those bold steps. Know your risks and take them.
These are just few tips to help you fuel your passion but there are more. It is time to wake the sleeping passion. Please look out for yourself and all that God has placed inside of you. Multiply your one talent to two, your two to four and your five to ten. May you receive strength to birth all the visions that God has given you.
