Sam, the lover boy was a very handsome man. The type that had built muscles, fine hair and charming appearance. Mehn!! he was a bloke. Are you tripping already?!!
He was the only child of his parents. In fact his mum was barren for a while before God sent word that despite her barrenness she was still going to give birth to a baby boy but warned her seriously not to drink wine or similar drink and not to eat anything unclean during the pregnancy. Sam eventually came and brought them so much joy. Long before Sam was born, God warned His parents that no razor must come upon his head at birth and forever because he was destined to deliver his nation from another oppressive nation.
Like every young adult, Sam fell in love. “love wan tin tin” Have you ever been in love? Don’t worry if you have never been, one day one day you shall!! Sam was in love with this lady to the extent that his parents could not talk him out of love. Apparently, the lady was from the enemy nation that Sam was destined to destroy. It was a war between Sam and his parents. His mum and dad were worried that Sam may not fulfill his destiny if he married that lady. Eventually, his parents agreed and choose to follow him to ask for the lady’s hand in marriage. Along the way, a young lion came roaring at Sam! perhaps this was a bad sign. Did the lion kill Sam? imagine a lion appears and roars at a groom on his wedding day..Lool we’ll find out the rest next week.
Therefore, here are some tips to take home from today’s post:

God knows your need: Sam’s mum had been barren before Sam came along. I don’t know what the state of your life is right now. Do you think you are experiencing barrenness in some areas? Do not worry God will show up and send something special but with every gift from God comes a manual. She was warned not to drink wine during the pregnancy. Look out for every instruction God has given you so that you can bring to birth all the dreams and visions that God has given you.
You have a destiny: There is no single being on earth without a purpose. You may not have the privilege of such purpose being known at birth but you can get to know it along the way of life. You are a special child and God loves you. There is something for you to do here on earth and that is why you are still here. Never think less of yourself. All those mistakes and successes are leading you somewhere.
God has the best ideas: Sam’s mum and dad were upset about the love between Sam and the lady especially because she was from the enemy’s nation. But this was God’s idea after all. God wanted to use the love affair to deliver Sam’s nation. God works in mysterious ways. Never expect your journey to be like mine. Sometimes things may not happen the way you expect but if it is God’s idea, trust me it is the best.
